All our leathers are byproducts of the food industry that would otherwise go to waste, and we never use exotic leathers. They all come from responsible sources, mainly from Europe, and none are sourced from deforestation-risk areas like Brazil. We only work with tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group, most of which have obtained Gold or Silver ratings for their advanced sustainability, traceability, and social practices.
Our packaging is sustainably made with partially recycled FSC-certified paper, fully recyclable, or biodegradable and compostable bags.
All our leather items are handcrafted in a factory in the regions of Lazio and Tuscany, embodying the mastery and artisanal techniques that we believe quality should represent. It may take 50 or more distinct pieces and various skilled artisans to craft one of our bags. Each style requires an incredibly elaborate process, making each bag a small work of art.
